I know what it feels like to finally find the thing that changes everything.

I spent fifteen and a half years in a corporate job I didn't choose so much as drift into. I worked hard, showed up every day, and somewhere along the way started working from home full time, which turned out to be the one thing I knew I wanted, even when I couldn't see what came next.

But in the background, I always had this quiet certainty that the online business world was where I belonged.

I just hadn't figured out how to make that happen yet.

When I got downsized after fifteen and a half years, I didn't feel fear. I felt relief. My son was young, I was already working from home, and I finally had the space to figure out what I was actually meant to do.

I'd been aware of the online business world for years. The idea that ordinary people could build real businesses from their laptops, reach their own audiences, and get paid for work they genuinely cared about is a concept that had been something I couldn't stop thinking about.

In May 2020, with the world shut down and time finally on my side, I made a decision. I invested $2,000 in a Meta ads course, paid in full. For where we were financially at the time, that was a significant leap of faith.

I'll be honest. I had a history of talking myself out of things. I'd start something, get scared, and let self-doubt win. This time felt different.
